Fleet Certification Opportunities

NTEA is pleased to endorse two self-study online training and certification programs developed and administered by NAFA Fleet Management Association. Both are open to any individual with at least one year experience in any fleet-related position, as well as those enrolled in a college or university program in a fleet-related position:

The CAFM (Certified Automotive Fleet Manager) offers the most up-to-date fleet management education. Successful completion of the CAFM program requires passing all eight disciplines within a three-year period.

The
CAFS (Certified Automotive Fleet Specialist) program gives candidates the option of selecting any four of the eight offered disciplines and complete the selected four within a two-year period.

Both programs promote the efficient and informed purchasing of work trucks and include, among other resources, self-instruction manuals, in-person seminars, reference materials and certification examinations.
