Issue: 
Over time, the mounting brackets for the front grille surround (trim) could loosen or detach. If this happens, the grille surround could detach from the vehicle. 
 
Safety Risk: 
A grille surround that separates from the vehicle could create a hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash. 
 
Corrective Actions: 
Navistar will notify owners by mail and advise you to inspect the grille surround periodically, and repair it if necessary. Navistar will send you a second notice when the replacement parts are available, and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the grille surround assembly.

Issue: 
On certain trucks, the spline teeth in the windshield wiper arm(s) could wear and break. If this happens, the windshield wipers may not work properly. 
Note: This is an expansion of recall FL-926 (Transport Canada Recall 2022-172). 
 
Safety Risk: 
Windshield wipers that don't work could affect a driver's visibility and increase the risk of a crash. 
 
Corrective Actions: 
Daimler Truck North America (DTNA) will notify the owners by mail and instruct you to take your truck to a DTNA authorized service facility to inspect, and if necessary, replace the windshield wiper arm(s) and linkage parts.

Issue: 
On certain vehicles, an unused wiring harness for a rear HVAC blower motor, located in the left B-pillar area, could become damaged if exposed to moisture or contaminants. If this happens, the wires could short circuit. 
Note: This recall only affects cutaway chassis incomplete vehicles. 
 
Safety Risk: 
A short circuit can create the risk of a fire. 
 
Corrective Actions: 
General Motors will notify owners by mail and instruct you to bring your vehicle to a dealership to seal the wiring for the rear HVAC blower motor at the left B-pillar.

Issue: 
On certain trucks, a wire terminal for the blower motor circuit breaker in the power distribution module (PDM) could overheat and melt. 
 
Safety Risk: 
Wiring that overheats and melts can create the risk of a fire. 
 
Corrective Actions: 
Navistar will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your truck to a dealership to replace the blower motor wiring terminal in the PDM. The dealership will also inspect and, if necessary, replace the fuse block.
