Issue: 
On certain trucks, the gears in the windshield wiper motor could wear. If this happens, the windshield wipers may not work. 
Safety Risk: 
Windshield wipers that don't work could reduce visibility and increase the risk of a crash. 
Corrective Actions: 
Volvo Trucks will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to replace the windshield wiper motor.

On certain vehicles, the instrument cluster could remain blank. As a result, warnings, tell-tales and gauges may not display. 
Note: This recall only affects vehicles equipped with a digital instrument cluster. 
Safety Risk: 
Warnings, tell-tales and gauges that don't display could increase the risk of a crash. 
Corrective Actions: 
Ford will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the instrument panel cluster or instrument panel cluster module, as necessary.

Issue: 
On certain trucks, the fuel gauge float inside the fuel tank could detach. If this happens, the fuel gauge would not display the correct fuel level. As a result, the driver may be unaware of how much fuel is in the tank, and the vehicle could run out of fuel and stall. 
Note: This recall only affects trucks equipped with a 265 L or 340 L fuel tank. 
Safety Risk: 
A sudden loss of engine power could increase the risk of a crash. 
Corrective Actions: 
Hino will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to replace the fuel sender.

Issue: 
On certain vehicles, the automatic headlamps may not turn on soon enough as it becomes dark outside. Canadian regulations require automatic headlamps to turn on when the ambient light level drops below a certain point (1000 lux). 
Safety Risk: 
Headlamps that don't turn on as it becomes dark outside could reduce visibility and increase the risk of a crash. 
Corrective Actions: 
General Motors will notify owners by mail and send a wireless over-the-air software update to eligible vehicles to update the body control module (BCM) software. Alternatively, you may schedule an appointment to have the update performed at a GM dealership.
