The U.S. Senate approved the bipartisan Vehicle Innovation Act, authored by U.S. Senators Gary Peters (D-MI), Lamar Alexander (R-TN) and Debbie Stabenow (D-MI). The bill was included as a provision in a broader bipartisan energy bill, which passed the Senate. Read more.
NTEA supports the Vehicle Innovation Act
"NTEA - The Association for the Work Truck Industry commends the Senate on passage of this energy bill which includes Vehicle Innovation Act language. This will help meet the future needs of vocational truck users by positively formalizing partnerships between the government and industry-led stakeholder organizations, nonprofit organizations and trade associations with expertise in advanced automotive and commercial vehicle technologies.
